Our Long Day

It was a long, awful day, but we made it thru yesterday! We started off by going to the dentist. Kylee was a big girl. She got xrays and everything. "She has beautiful teeth" the dentist said. No cavities! Mom wasn't so lucky. Pregnancy hormones do crazy things! So needless to say I will be going back much sooner than Kylee. The doctor appointment was next. Kylee weighed in at 39 lbs and 103 cm tall. They even took her blood pressure! The dr said she looked great and she was in the 50th percentile in both weight and height. Clancy weighed in at a whopping 10lbs 7oz and 22 inches long. (I really thought it'd be more than that!) All checked out good with him and the dr said he was in the 25th percentile on both weight and height. Then came the shots! Kylee was already crying before they came in the room with them and insisted Clancy go first. He got 3 shots and 1 oral vaccine. He took them like a man :) He cried a whole 30 seconds or so. Then came Kylee. My mom had to hold her down while they poked her 5 times. She screamed bloody murder (literally) for prolly 5 minutes. She finally stopped and got dressed and went to the treasure chest. I don't know if there was anything left in there when she got done. The dr also gave her a book. Then she got to go to the pet store to look around to cheer her up. She then got to work out the soreness at gymnastics and dance class. The "Shot Fairy" came while she was inside. She and I also went to eat supper, just the two of us, while Clancy stayed with Granny. Guess where Kylee picked to go. Sonic. Woohoo!! Silly girl. They both slept good and woke up in a pretty good mood this morning (with the help of our good friend Tylenol) so hopefully Mema is doing ok today with them (I sent they're friend along to play every 4 hours:)).

Here is a shot of Clancy before our long day out. Then of Kylee all ready for dance class. And if you look closely in the last one you can see her battle scars!
