VBS

Kylee visited my childhood church last week for VBS.  She had fun all week, despite the fact that she ran out of the Bible story crying the first few nights (thanks to my brother for the scary great sound effects!).  After the program the fire truck provided lots of entertainment for the kids!  I didn't get a pic of all her crafts because everyone was soaking wet and we were just trying to get home!

HVBC Annual Memorial Day Campout

We had our Annual Hay Valley Baptist Church Memorial Day Campout this weekend at the Coward Ranch.  It was very hot, but a lot of fun!  I ended up taking Bubby home for the night.  The hubs and I did not think he would make it thru the night out there.  When I asked him how he and Freddi Jo slept, he said SHE slept VERY well.  Poor Dad.  Oh well, we let him take a nap the next day! ;)  We grilled hamburgers, smores, swam, sang, and set up tents that evening.  The next morning we cooked breakfast outside (it was SO good!), had a morning devotional, had morning services, had a picnic lunch and swam and fished even more!!  Here are some, ok ALOT of pics for you to enjoy!!

HVBC Pinewood Derby

We had our Annual Pinewood Derby Race last week.  Kylee had a Zebra Peace Sign Flip Flop Car.  Clancy had a Flatbed Trailer....which had a tractor on it until the guys drilled all the way thru it trying to lighten it and broke it off.  Cody just had a FAST car!  We had a lot of FUN!

Hay Valley Christmas Program 2008

Sunday was the Hay Valley Christmas Program. Kylee was an angel (imagine that). She did a great job. They sang 3 songs. Happy Birthday to Jesus, The 12 Days of Christmas, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. If she didn't know anything else, she knew "4 CALLING BIRDS!!!". They were hilarious. Cody also had a speaking part in the play. They did great. We had supper afterwards and the kids did a gift exchange.
