Christmas Randomness

She did NOT want to take pics

He apparently DID not want to take a pic either

The Woody quilt Granny made him

Probably not a great idea

So excited about the quilt Granny made her

and excited about the bike Santa brought!

In her new coat and hat and gloves (and of course on the phone)

Riding her new bike

It wouldn't GO on the rocks, so he flipped it over to find out the problem ;)

Where to start? School parties...

Both the kids had school parties. Kylee had a program in which she sang some really cute songs. Then we went back to her room for a class party. Clancy just had a class party. Here are a few pics from them.

Merry Christmas

Just wanted to take a minute to wish everyone a very Merry CHRISTmas.  Hopefully I can catch up on blogging after the holidays (which will put me even further behind).

1st Grade Bento #36 - Food Marker FAIL

Well, I wanted to start my Christmas bentos this morning, but I had loaned out all my Christmas cookie cutters, so I gave my markers a try.  I know they dont write well on regular bread.  I dont know what I was thinking.  Oh, well.  It says "Ho! Ho! Ho! Love, Mom" if you can't tell.
Ham and Cheese Sandwich
a Cupcake with Christmas sprinkles
Apple slices and a couple carrot sticks.

Not a very exciting or impressive first Christmas bento :/.

Hay Valley Christmas Program 2008

Sunday was the Hay Valley Christmas Program. Kylee was an angel (imagine that). She did a great job. They sang 3 songs. Happy Birthday to Jesus, The 12 Days of Christmas, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. If she didn't know anything else, she knew "4 CALLING BIRDS!!!". They were hilarious. Cody also had a speaking part in the play. They did great. We had supper afterwards and the kids did a gift exchange.
